I had to go the optometrist for a long-overdue exam. Come to find out, I've needed corrective lenses for a few years now - the optometrist was not pleased with my eye-chart results. I am not happy with this result, but it will work itself through in the inner workings of karma. A quote from Hagakure sums this up: "Among the maxims on Lord Naoshige’s wall there was this one: 'Matters of great concern should be treated lightly.' Master lttei commented, 'Matters of small concern should be treated seriously.'" It basically says to work on the details of your life, and your karma will handle the larger concepts - in other words, don't sweat the big stuff.
